Educational Background & Business Experience
Born in 1947, D (Dennis) Michael Kane is President and owner of Kane Investment Management, Inc. Prior to founding the company in December 1982, Mr. Kane held management positions with the U.S. Department of Defense, Firestone Tire & Rubber, and Kaiser Cement. While on assignment with the DOD, he was decorated by the Secretary of Defense receiving the Joint Service Commendation Medal for exceptionally meritorious service. He was a former governing board member of El Camino Hospital and has sat on a variety of other local boards. Mr. Kane received his BA from the University of Michigan and his MBA in Management and Finance from Golden Gate University. He holds the SEC/NASD General Securities – Series 2, Uniform Securities Agent – Series 63, and Uniform Securities Principal – Series 24 Licenses.

Educational Background & Business Experience
Born in 1949, Mr. Manjeshwar (M.S.) Bhat joined Kane Investment Management Inc. in February 2009 and serves as Chief Operating Officer of Kane Investment Management, Inc. Prior to his employment at Kane Investment Management, Inc., Dr. Bhat worked at UC Berkeley, IBM (NYSE:IBM) and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, acquired by Western Digital Corp (NASDAQ:WDC), where he became Vice President and General Manager of US Development Labs for Hitachi. He received a B.S. in Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, India (1971), and a M.S. in Engineering (1974) and Ph.D. in Engineering (1977) from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Bhat joined Kane Investment Management, Inc. in 2009 and he holds a Uniform Investment Representative Law – Series 65 license.
